Wat Mangkorn Kamalawat, Bangkok (Chinatown)

Wat Mangkorn Kamalawat built in King RamaV in 1871. About 8 years to complete construction  called “Leng Noei Yi” which “Leng” meaned the dragon, “Noei” meaned the lotus, “Yi” meaned the temple. It was Mahayana doctrine with very beautiful and the largest Temple in Thailand. Later named was “Wat Mangkorn Kamalawat”.

The architecture of Wat Mangkorn Kamalawat that the planning is under way in the southern Chinese architecture. The style is Tae Chew.

Important Monument and Puchaniyawatu:

- Shakyamuni Buddha,the main Phrapratan
- Viharn Tao Jatulokkaban, the Chinese Warrior God
- Taoism and Chinese folk gods (58 Gods): Protection God of divine destiny (Tai Suay Aei), God of medicine (Chiang Chuo Kong), God of fortune (Chai Ching Aei), 18 Phra Oorahan on both sides of the temple
